Technology is hard

I am very excited to be learning so much about online systems in this class! I always feel like I am so behind with technology, so this should be really helpful. I already feel like I have learned so much. I have never had a blog before, but it is so much fun to use! I enjoy journaling but it is so easy to forget to do it every day. This class makes it much easier to stay focused with journaling and it is also much more creative. I have used WordPress and Google Docs before but not extensively. I honestly did not know that WordPress was a place for blogging and setting up websites until now. I bookmarked a lot of the technology tools to help me along the way. Some of them feel a little overwhelming like the cheezburger website, but I know the more I play with them the easier it will get. All of this new information is exciting and I cannot wait to learn more. I am very thankful, Laura, that you are helping us for life beyond college. I think many people forget about those things and it makes for a much more difficult transition. I am not very good at technology...YET.

Image of myself My name is Lindsi Unsell. I am a senior at The University of Oklahoma and I am studying Communications. All of my Communication classes have been so interesting and relevant to everyday life. I have actually noticed myself become a better communicator and have been more aware of how others communicate around me. As a senior, I am both excited and nervous to have such limited time in school left. I feel so happy that I have come this far successfully and I can see the light at the end of this stressful yet rewarding tunnel. I also work at The Oklahoma Daily as a copy editor and hope to try my hand at some writing for the newspaper this final semester. The Daily has been one of the most rewarding things I have done at OU. Week 9 Story: The Shark and the Seal

Bibliography: This story is originally written by A. L. Shelton as The Tiger and the Frog Seal escaping jaws of shark There was once a very old shark that was making its way to the reef to fill its stomach. The shark had not eaten in a couple of days and felt very weak indeed. As the shark was gliding through the sparkling blue waters a baby seal up ahead saw him and became very frightened. The seal quickly came up with a plan as the shark drew near. The shark was about to pass by when the seal squeaked, "what are you up to?" The shark slowly turned around and said, "I am in search for food. I have not eaten in two days and I feel very weak. You would be a good meal but you are very small."
